DEMONS NIGHT FEVER Characters: Roster Overview and Voice Cast

DEMONS NIGHT FEVER characters center on four main figures: the diminished devil Giga Super Death, his cynical disciple Killshiro Katanaka, the brainwashed idol Mary Haley, and God. Each character drives the tactical narrative through opposing agendas and dark humor.

Core Roster and English Voice Cast

The Steam character introduction lists four primary personalities who shape the narrative conflict across the campaign. Each character features full voice support, with selectable audio tracks in Japanese and English.

Giga Super Death

Voiced in the english dub by Samantha Jeka, giga super death was the supreme God of Evil in Cosmic Era Year 6,660,000. On the verge of striking down God, he unexpectedly transformed into a helpless baby and lost the majority of his powers. To reclaim his standing, he activated a custom-built resurrection program called Demons' Night Fever within the astral plane. Taking the physical form of an infant and a winged black kitten, he instructs his mortal disciple in villainy and the tactical destruction of underlings.

Killshiro Katanaka

Voiced by Dominic Allen, killshiro katanaka is an overworked, misanthropic programmer at an unethical third-rate game company. Having spent years maintaining a personal kill note for those who wronged him, he accepts a pact with Giga Super Death under the assumption that the resurrection ritual is an elaborate stress-induced delusion. Within the astral plane, his physical avatar reverts to his middle school appearance, representing his stunted emotional development. On the grid, he acts as the single unit directly controlled by the player.

Mary Haley

Voiced by Anya Floris, Mary Haley is a popular idol and Hollywood celebrity who previously attended middle school alongside Killshiro. Deceived by God into believing Killshiro was brainwashed into serving evil, she accepts divine powers to hunt down the devil's forces. She enters combat encounters as a self-righteous opponent convinced she is staging a heroic rescue.

God

Voiced by Charles Glover, God is the long-standing adversary of Giga Super Death. While projecting the image of a benevolent saint to ordinary mortals, he engages in covert sabotage behind the scenes to eradicate the demon lord entirely. God manipulates Mary Haley's sense of justice, directing her to intercept Killshiro before the resurrection ritual completes.

Supporting Allies, Traitors, and Opposing Bosses

Beyond the four central cast members, the story features distinct minor figures and disposable recruits encountered across the campaign chapters.

  • Sebastian: Giga Super Death's former butler. Sebastian betrays his master as soon as the devil turns into an infant, stating that his survival depends on riding the longest coattails by defecting to God.
  • Hero Rangers: Antagonists modeled on costumed sentai tropes. Giga Super Death designates figures like Marie Chacado and Biscotti as corrupt targets for Killshiro to crush during local turf conquest.
  • Pudding: Killshiro's former middle school classmate who resurfaces within the ritual as a target of his lingering personal resentment.
  • Recruited Peons: Nameless subordinates acquired through base management, such as Aurora Rou, Dragon Akira, Midnight You, Rio, and Diamond Aoi. These units hold varied attack shapes and stats, but they possess zero loyalty and cannot be directly steered during combat.

Tactical Unit Selection and Trade-Offs

Deploying forces on the grid requires balancing direct actions against expendable fodder. The peon exploitation system forces players to decide which units to maneuver, deploy, or consume for tactical advantage. Killshiro directs battlefield positioning by triggering kill skills through targeted detonations.

Unit TypeTactical RoleDeployment Trade-Off
Killshiro KatanakaDirect commander providing manual movement, basic attacks, and positioning skillsIf Killshiro falls in combat, the battle results in an immediate defeat condition
Standard PeonAutonomous combatant that acts during the minion phase and detonates for area damageMoves independently on the grid and dies permanently if defeated by enemy attacks
Decoy PeonSacrifice used during the recruitment phase to boost bonus abduction success ratesConsumed immediately at base before entering the tactical battlefield grid

Managing the roster involves recognizing that friendly forces are consumable assets. Combining Killshiro's teleportation command with allied detonations allows players to reposition distant targets and wipe out entire enemy squads in a single turn.
